The Albert Collection

The Albert Collection was a very extensive and fine collection of over 700 items of antique silver spanning a period of 500 years. The book has received excellent reviews and is quoted as being an essential reference for the student, dealer or academic. It has over 750 superb colour photographs which were specially commissioned, and which illustrate every item.

First published 2004, the print-run sold out quickly and is unlikely ever to be reprinted. If you are looking to find a copy try the Internet where you may find one priced at anything from £500 to well over £2,000.

We do have a few unused , boxed copies, at £600, so do please, ask us first!

First published in 1986, it ran to 4 impressions. It is no longer in print, but can sometimes be found on the Internet, but it almost always sells at a premium - sometimes a substantial one, but the prices vary considerably, so it may be worth trying a book price comparison site like bookfinder or abebooks.
