How to purchase

Thank you for arriving at this page.  We try to make buying as simple as possible, while giving you the security you expect and  need.

First please check with us that the item you would like to buy is still available.  We make every endeavour to keep the website up-to-date, but occasionally something sells, and another person wants it before we have removed it from the site.  While we try to give full descriptions in addition to images, there may be something more you would like to know about an item before progressing to the buying stage.  In this case do please ask us for more information; we are here to help and usually respond within 12 hours – often very much sooner.

Our preferred method of payment is by debit card.  We also accept credit cards, but as they cost us more to process, we like them somewhat less!  Cheques are also accepted, but unless you are known to us, must be cleared before we dispatch your purchases.

For debit and credit card transactions, please let us have the 16-digit number, the expiry date and 3-digit security code.  To complete the deal we also need the address to which the card is registered, as well as the address to which you would like it sent if they are not the same.  It is suggested for your own security that the data is sent in more than one e-mail.  Alternatively, your card details can be telephoned to 017831 194 997.

We package and send to all parts of the world - even the most delicate of glass.  We take pride in packing securely in double-walled boxes, and we use acid-free tissue paper and bubblewrap to ensure your purchases arrive in the condition they left us.  We send all parcels by FedEx Priority, which means that most arrive the next day, including those to the USA. The cost of sending is passed on to you at cost.  It may be helpful to know that the cost of sending a single decanter to the USA is usually about £55.
