This is a fine example of a heavy baluster wine goblet. It is an early form made from lead glass (lead crystal) and has a rounded funnel bowl above a broad angular knop with bubble inclusion, and above a basal baluster knop. It rests on a folded foot.

This is an early example of a baluster drinking glass, being about 300 years old. It is in perfect condition. Please refer to Eighteenth Century English Drinking Glasses by LM Bickerton (2nd Revised Edition) Pl 72, p 69 for a similar glass, and others on the same page with slight variations.
