Coloured wine glasses (and decanters) became very popular in the second half on the 19th century and these are typical of the late century.  The bowls are semi ovoid and are a fine turquoise shade, resting on clear glas narrow cylindrical stems. The feet match the colour of the bowls.

Glasses like this were often made as part of long sets of drinking glasses, mostly in clear glass, but these and other colours were usually intended for Hock - a very popular German wine, which later in the 20th century.  Some red wine glasses wre made in red.   A few years later in the 1920s, hock glasses were made in sets of different colours.
