4109 A Reproduction Georgian Ship's Decanter
This may be everyone's idea of a ship's decanter, but sadly very few are originals. The originals were made around 1800, and soon after cut decoration was added. However, demand for this model far outstrips supply, so I have dipped my toe in the water of reproduction.
This does not pretend to be a Georgian decanter although the design is very similar. Like almost all reproductions of this type, this is slightly larger than most originals and holds a full bottlle very confortably.
