Click on the images to see more detail

This green decanter is a good example of an early Victorian decanter.  It is of tall tapered form and it panel-cut along its length.   It has a ribbed spire stopper.

Green decanters are particularly suitable for serving 'white' wine, and this would be perfectly fit for the task.

Date: c.1840

Dimensions: 14.3", 36.5 cm. High incl. stopper
