Click on the images to see more detail

This is a good 'Prussian' decanter with a barrel-shaped body cut with flutes around the base and panel- or slice-cut shoulders beneath three plain neck rings.  It has a star-cut mushroom stopper - which may be original.

The decanter is bright and clear without any chips cracks or cloudiness and holds a full bottle with ease.  It is very fit for purpose as it pours cleanly.

Date: c.1815

Dimensions: 10.4", 26.5 cm high incl. stopper.
