6046 A Horn-Handled straight-Pull Corkscrew

This is a simple corkscrew with a horn (deer antler) handle.  It has a plain turned shank , while the worm or helix is an "American rapid" type.  Unlike the augur-type helix, this should not push a fragment of cork into the wine!
