6549 A Delftware Bin Label for CYDER

Click on the images to see more detail

This is a rare delftware bin label for "Cyder".  Of typical coathanger form, it has a pale duck-egg blue glaze and with black lettering for "CYDER."

There is a small chip to the lower right hand side, but otherwise the label is in excellent overall condition.  It is a label with a lot of 'character' - the full stop at the end of Cyder and the lettering are charming features.

Date: c.1760
