9573 A pottery bin label for 'PORT'
This bin label for port has black lettering against a bluey-white glazed ground. The glaze covers the lower two thirds of the face of the label, and the back remains unglazed.
the label is impressed "Farrow & Jackson London & Paris" around the top edge of the back. The shaped is generally referred to as a 'square coathanger'.
There is very minor 'fritting' along some of the lower edge of the label.
