9581 A Pottery Bin Label for SHERRY

Click on the images to see more detail

This is a good example of a mid-19th century pottery bin label.  It is not marked or impressed with a factory name, but it was probably made by one of many well-known potteries (Minton, Spode etc.).

The condition is excellent without any chips or cracks and the lettering is not rubbed.

Date: c.1850

Dimensions: 5.5", 14 cm wide
