9596 A Blue and White Overlay Decanter & Stopper
This is a fine English decanter of c.1860 and possibly made by the distinguished firm of F & C Osler.
The body of the decanter has an inner layer of blue glass beneath a clear layer, and an opaque white layer on top. The cut decoration clearly reveals both the blue and white in writhen loops and inverted onion-dome patterns,
