9805 A High Quality Electroplated Coaster
We do not usually buy electroplated pieces, but this coaster just oozes quality. The solid satinwood base and the intricate, yet sophisticated design are what one expects from a firm like Elkington & Co who were at the forefront of the electroplating business in the mid-19th century.
The pattern is designed to accommodate a shaft & globe decanter which was similarly 'of the mement' when this was made.
It is ib excellent condition without repairs or restorations.
