9873 A Large Shaped Crescent Wine Label for Claret
This is an unusual variety of the crescent shape of wine label which was popular at the end of the 18th century. This version, with a gadrooned border and interrupted by scallop shells, is typical of the work of George Pearson, who made it in 1822.
The label is solidly made and is in fine condition without any damage or repair.
