9949 A Georgian Magnum 'Prussian' Decanter

This is a magnum decanter - it does hold 2 bottles of wine comfortably.  It is that standard 'prussian' shape with three neck rings and a mushroom stopper.

The lack of any cut decoration, the fact that the stopper is moulded, and not cut, and the very, very slightly green hue to the clear glass suggest that this one may have been made in America (USA).  The overall proportions would tend to re-inforce this notion, but it is not an assertion of fact.

Wherever it was made, this is a very practical magnum, and it is in excellent bright condition.
