Hand-made Cup-bowl Wine Glasses and Goblets

Click on the images to see more detail

These glasses are hand-made to our specific requirements. They look very similar to a type of wine goblet which enjoyed popularity from c.1740 - 1760.  The glasses come in three sizes, measuring 6.5", 7" and 7.5" (16.5, 17.8 & 19 cm) high and suitable for white wine, red wine and water respectively, although, of course you may drink what you like from them.  Actually I rather fancy Burgundy from the larger glass!

The glasses have cup-bowls, not unlike the very commonly seen 'paris goblets' so favoured by restaurants and cafes in the late 20th century, but with infinitely more style and individuality.  Each of these glasses (goblets if you prefer) are carefully made by hand in the traditional way.  They have 'folded feet' which minimises the risk of chipping in that area, while the bowls are 'hot finished'.  Each one is a work of art by a skilled craftsman.

These glasses are not dishwasher-proof as our other modern glasses are.

The small glasses are £35 each, the medium are £45 each and the large glasses £50.
