Code: 6520
This is a fine quality 'Prussian' decanter of c.1790-1800. It is cut with three broad incised or integral neck rings between vertical panel cutting. It has a slightly everted lip and the lower section is cut with fluting. The stopper is a bevelled inverted pear shape.
The weight of this decanter demonstrates its high quality made in an age when glass was sold by weight. It holds a full bottle with ease and pours well. We recommend it as a good 'everyday' using decanter.
