This a pair of late Georgian decanters of 'prussian' outline. The bodies are panel-cut about their height, above three basal step-cut rings and below the tripple ringed necks and pronounced flange rims. The undersides are star-cut with a ground central pontil. The mushroom stoppers are also star-cut.
These are eminently useable decanters, each one holding a full bottle with ease and with the neck rings, they provide a good grip to aid pouring.
The decanters are in excellent bright condition, without any cracks or chips, although one stopper has a chip (which does not show when in the decanter) and one stopper looks to be contemporary but not original.
9.4", 24 cm. high incl. stoppers
